Why work at Bocoup?

We're a small company on a mission to bring the Open Web Platform and open source principles to the world.

Open Source Time

Everyone at Bocoup has 25% open source time to work on non commercial projects on a weekly or monthly basis. Creating an opportunity for team members to explore open source on a regular basis is a priority for Bocoup.

Professional Development

In addition to open source time, everyone at Bocoup gets a discretionary professional development budget for books, software, conferences, trainings, travel, or anything else that moves us forward professionally.

Community

Bocoup is a part of the international Open Web community. We hang out and hack with some of the most amazing and passionate leaders of the Open Web and we encourage and cultivate this kind of community stewardship within our own team.

No Bullshit, Big Impact

We're a small team with a strong merit-based culture of respect, straightforwardness, and honesty. Be prepared to defend your workflow and your opinions and philosophies about the Open Web. As a member of this team, you'll be a part of steering our mission and vision of an Open Web for everyone.

What can I expect after submitting my application?

As soon as you click submit hundreds of carefully-placed baskets of confetti flip over in the rafters of the Bocoup Loft, dumping their contents onto our team.

As we dig our way out of what is quickly becoming a dangerous volume of confetti, we rush to a meeting room where we'll review your application, click on your resource locators, and say words to each other in a very calm and professional manner until which time that we email you for a follow-up, or decide that, despite our best efforts, we couldn't find a place at Bocoup awesome enough to house your badass self.

What is the interview process like at Bocoup?

It's your opportunity to learn a ton about Bocoup and gives us time to learn more about you. We care about what you've done, and what you'd like to do. The process is a balance of relaxed conversation, meeting with different team members, and doing what you do best.
